V2 Mobile used Excel spreadsheets to record incoming devices. We built a connected solution that combines a public website with everyday service operations — from the first entry to customer notifications.
THE STARTING POINT
Device intake details were entered into spreadsheets. The next step was to connect those records with repair job tracking and customer notifications in a solution shaped around the service team’s work.
WHAT WE BUILT
The public website presents V2 Mobile’s products and services. Behind it, a business application connects customer details, devices and repair jobs. The company’s online presence and daily operations work together as one solution.
At intake, the team records the customer, device and reported problem. These details stay connected to the repair job as the device moves through the service workflow.
As the repair progresses, the job status is tracked. The team has a shared view of incoming devices and the progress of each job.
Customer notifications are part of the same solution. Device and repair progress information is connected to customer communication through the agreed workflow.
From Excel records to a connected service workflow: the customer, device, repair job and notifications are now parts of one solution. It is an example of an application shaped around the real steps of a local business.
